I went to a four hour training class today at one of the local colleges. Trying to get things lined up to go back to work when #4 starts school in August. I did go and officially become a married woman with a new name last week. That's right--I made my way down to the social security office here in Rome ---(and became a "valid" Georgia driver again too.) So, finally, it's all done!
Revival services are still going on and it has been very refreshing. We started out for the church tonight and when I opened the door to go out, a bird flew in. I have a wreath on my front door that the birds just love to nest/play in. I definitely took it off guard and in it flew--bout flew right between my eyes. I ducked and started hollerin' for the kids to open the other doors so hopefully he would find his way out. Well, not so fast. It wasn't till he had flown in every room, pooped twice... that I know of , and knocked himself into several windows before he finally flew out the back door. How aggravating is that?

Maybe you should become a bird catcher after #4 goes to school in in the fall.
Congrats on becoming a legal Georgian! :)
Sounds like quite an experience with the bird. It has happened to me a couple of times. I try to darken the room as much as possible and light up the area of an open door. It seems that their attention goes to that area.
Legally Brunette
At least it wasn't a bat. . .
