Revival and more

Revival and more

Revival began yesterday at our church. Steve Dennis brought two awesome messages and everyone there felt the presence of God right there among us. Last night was especially great as he talked about "stuff"---how it can keep us "out" of Heaven--and how ironically we can't take one single thing with us. We have to leave it here for someone else to fight over, throw away, or heres a good one--Pay for. It's just not worth it!! Wanting only leads to wanting more--we can just never have enough when we set our sights on "things". (pure misery is what you'll get) along with a boat load of debt! I'm not judging anyone here because I have done the same thing. Maybe not the big boat of debt--more like a paddle boat load for me--but none the less I've done it.

More on Cooper the pup...We got home with him and hubby comes out with a lopsided grin on his face. Then it turned into a smile. Cooper was just too handsome to resist. Hubby immediatley thought it was time to train him in every manner..slaps a leash on his collar and pulls a resistful Cooper down the street. Not the smartest of moves---especially since Cooper and hubby haven't yet "bonded".I took him the next day to the vet to start the immunization process. While I was there they explained to me that some other dogs had been in with"Parvo" that had come from the local animal shelter. The Dr. told me that Cooper looked very healthy and didn't have the parvo"smell" that comes along with this merciless virus, and frankly a test for parvo right then would be a waste of $30. So, we got done there and came home. He got a bath-teeth brushed with chicken flavor toothpaste, nails trimmed, etc. He was cute as a button and smelled like he'd been in Bath and Body for an hour.

Chillin #4 was accepted into the pre-k program starting in August---so it's finally time for me to go back to work. I haven't worked outside of the home in over then years, but I've worked my butt off inside the home! Raising four is no easy task, but I am so grateful for them and thankful I was able to stay home with them. (Thanks to God and hubby) Anyway, so much has changed as far as technology is concerned since I sat inside the offices of Morris & Schneider doing closing work for Realestate lawyers. So we will see...

Sounds like a good revival. Good to hear Steve is preaching again.

Good Looking dog.

I am not sure about the masked lady on your profile. Scares me a little.

I can't wait to read all about your ventures.
